Who I am
Hello, my name is Mary MacPhee. I reside in Ottawa, Canada, and have been happily married to my best friend since 1995 and I am the proud mom of two awesome young adults.
Sewing is my passion. For over 25 years, I've been a dedicated sewer and quilter. Sewing is my way of recharging, which is why every bed in my home and cottage boasts at least one or two quilts. The same goes for every couch, chair, and quilt ladder. 😊 While sewing is where I find my zen, it's also a costly hobby. A few years back, I began exploring ways to economize for my family. Honestly, I was seeking ways to save so I could continue indulging in fabric 😊.
About seven years ago, I crafted my first set of reusable kitchen towels, which I used up until our kitchen renovation three years ago. I only replaced them because I wanted new ones that coordinated with our updated kitchen. Ever since we started using these reusable towels, we've rarely needed to buy paper towels. More savings means more fabric, right?!?
I've created sets of these reusable kitchen towels for friends and family, and now, I'm excited to make them for you!
